I believe that every student has a specific learning style that works for him/her and it is the role of the teacher to help each student succeed. It is important to have a good foundation in your subject in order to understand more difficult concepts later on.

I have my B.A. in English Literature and Rhetoric and in the process of acquiring my M.A. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.

I have tutoring experience in Math, Biology, and English in elementary schools. I have ESL teaching experience ages 7-21. I have also tutored high school students.

I love to cook and read for fun. I’m currently reading “The World is Flat” by Thomas Friedman.

I received a composite score of 31 on my ACT exam.
