I listen carefully to the individual student and engage and closely monitor their daily assignments. Providing prompt feedback enhances learning skills and brings students from their current level of understanding to mastering the academic rigors of the specific curriculum.
I completed my Masters of Education at Cumberland University, Lebanon, TN. My undergraduate studies were completed at Middle Tennessee State University, in Murfreesboro, TN. My major field of Study was Business Administration where I earned a Bachelor of Science. I minored in Political Science.
For the past five years, I have been teaching online Critical Thinking courses for the University of Phoenix. Prior to this, I coached and taught College Algebra at Cumberland University for twelve years. My initial teaching experiences were teaching in TN High Schools for five years. I taught various Social Studies courses.
I enjoy running and even coach track/cross country at the High and College level. I train individuals to complete half and full marathons. I have also served on the board of directors for the Nashville Striders running club and often volunteer at various charitable race events.
