My educational philosophy stems from doing whatever is best for the student. Our first session is normally an evaluation session where I see what the students’ strengths are and what needs improvement. I then plan our future sessions together around working on the students’ problems with the subject. Once these specific areas have been focused on, the student will start to excel.
I am currently enrolled at the University of Windsor for a Bachelors of Science Degree with a major in Biochemistry. I find the study of the biochemical nature of the body, especially the genetic factors, fascinating. I believe that the knowledge gained through University, thus far, has provided me with an ample knowledge base to meet most, if not all, tutoring needs.
Since I was a child, I’ve always loved to learn and to pass that knowledge onto others. I find teaching works best when the students problems are targeted early on. I find that once these problems are addressed, the student will have little to no problems with the material. This knowledge, combined with the my love of teaching, makes this job an absolute delight.
I like to play chess and solve puzzles. Sudoku is my favorite.
