Math must be approached with an intrinsic motivation to be a disciplined learner, with the desire to acquire the knowledge necessary to be successful.

My educational background includes a diploma from John F. Kennedy High School in Silver Spring, Maryland. Then I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Arizona. While working full-time in the real estate industry, I earned an MBA Degree from The American University in Washington, D.C. I earned a post-baccalaureate in secondary education from the University of Phoenix.

I teach math at a local high school. I also have experience as the math department chair at another high school. I have been teaching secondary mathematics since 1999, including four years as an adjunct faculty instructor in the math department at a Community College.

I have been a junior college men’s basketball coach since 1993.
