I believe in learning through doing and experience. If a student is told the answer, they only know it for a short time. If they find the answer, they know it forever.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Elizabethtown College before receiving my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Arkansas State University. I am a certified teacher in Pennsylvania.

I have been a 6th grade teacher for the past 7 years. During this time I have taught a wide range of students with many different abilities. I have taught all general subjects during this time.

I love to spend time with my family and friends. I also really enjoy music – singing and playing the piano. Finally, I enjoy crafts. My favorite thing to do is to crochet.
