If a student wants to learn, nothing will stop him. If a student does not want to learn, we need to find out why. Kids are naturally curious. I love discovering how to reach a student!

I received my Bachelors of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University in 1996, and I am currently pursuing my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Science at the University of Texas at Arlington.

I have experience teaching in the classroom.

I love to read, spend time with my family, and Zumba! I’ve recently taken up running, albeit slow, and have completed three Color Runs (5k) in the past two years. If I have a chance to get away, I’m going to the Texas coast to enjoy the beach.
