As a classroom teacher, I introduce a lot of hands-on activities to my students. I truly believe that students can have fun while they are learning mathematics! I use online resources as well. I constantly search for sites that are interactive and engaging for students.

I have an Kindergarten -4 Elementary Education Degree. I also have a Middle School Endorsement as well as and Algebra 1 Endorsement. I have a Masters Degree in Education with a Specialty in Mathematics Grades 6-8.

I have taught Math 7 and 8, Pre-Algebra and/or Algebra I for the last 18 years. I have also taught English 6, Social Studies, and Civics in the Middle School setting.

I am a former Sponsor of the National Junior Honor Society and Student Council Association at the Middle School where I currently teach.
