I believe that teaching needs to have open communication between a teacher and a student. I believe in inspiring students to find the answers on their own. I also am a great believer in critical thinking skills.

I received a Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in English from the University of Ottawa and then went on to receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the same institution. I am fluent in French, and have intermediate knowledge of Spanish.

I have had a variety of experiences in teaching. I have taught ESL at colleges, and worked in a school classroom as a sub-teacher. In addition, I have been tutoring students for over 9 years now and I very much enjoy it.

I have a wide range of interests. I love reading, and writing poetry and novels. I also enjoy travelling, cooking and learning languages. I would like to work on my drawing, pottery and photography when I have time.
