I believe that with enough hard work, all students can learn. Not everyone learns the same way. Some students are aural learners; others are visual learners; still others are tactile learners. It is my job to help students discover how they learn best.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Toledo, where I studied on a full merit scholarship. I then earned a Master’s Degree in student affairs from the same school, where I learned about various student development theories. Now, I am studying evaluation & measurement at Kent State University, where I am learning about the statistical processes necessary to determine whether or not educational and social programs are achieving what they purport to be achieving.

I have extensive tutoring experience and student affairs experience.

In high school, I took part in many extracurricular activities, including various sports. I also attained the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America at that time.

I received a composite score of 30 on my ACT exam.
