EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
I believe good rapport is the key to good learning. I believe in individualized instruction due to every student being unique. I believe in setting goals and encouraging students toward those goals. Every student has strengths, and my job is to help them to find them.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
I have a Bachelor’s Degree from Baylor University in Sociology. I also have a Master’s Degree and Ph.D. in Child and Family Development. I received both of these Degrees at the University of Georgia in Athens, GA. I am a certified teacher in Georgia.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have taught grades 7-12 in pre-algebra, algebra, trigonometry, pre-calculus, and calculus. I also taught child development, psychometrics, and statistics at the university level for 5 years.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
I enjoy music, songwriting, basketball, and reading. I also love cooking and traveling. I love playing with my two sons and discovering new places. I love having dinner parties with friends.
