EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
My education philosophy is that every child is afforded the ability to develop the skills necessary to be successful in their lives. I believe that their learning atmosphere should give them the opportunity to expand their knowledge while giving them the confidence to think for themselves.
In addition to being able to critically think about different subject topics, I find it incredibly important for students to be able to openly voice their opinions in order to foster idea-sharing. School should be a place where children can grow emotionally, intellectually, and socially.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Wyoming. After doing so I enrolled at Harvard’s Extension School to work on a graduate certificate in Religion Studies and Education. I have learned a lot from my education and hope to utilize it by helping other students find their love for learning.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have experience both tutoring and teaching students and am strongly passionate about working with young learners.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
In my spare time I spend time with my family and bulldogs. We often enjoy activities such as camping, hiking, and exploring new places we haven’t been. Other things I enjoy doing is playing trivia games and watching documentaries. I also donate my time and money to various organizations in my hometown.
