About Me
SUBJECTS
EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
I believe in fostering the emotional, mental, and intellectual growth of all my students and help them become knowledgeable and smart citizens of today’s world and tomorrow’s.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
I have an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Toronto. During my time there, I did volunteer work related to learning and teaching so I decided that teaching was where my passion was. Thus, I went on to complete a B.Ed, and now I have a Master’s in Education from the University of Alberta.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have been doing all kinds of volunteer teaching from soccer coaching to learning centres. The most prominent I would say was the time I taught in School District 20, BC. I was there for about four years with various contracts and teaching opportunities along the way. I then moved to Calgary where I worked both as a Quality Assurance Educator and Social Art Instructor.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
I do a lot of volunteer work occasionally. For example, at drop-in centres, womens’ centres, and Operation Christmas Child Canada. I also run a henna, art, and crafts businesses.
