Learning should be an engaging experience in which teachers provide a variety of tools for students to discover information, and how it conveys meaning to their lives. These tools should appeal to different types of learners, be it visual, audio, musical, hands on, or interactive.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish with my teaching certification in Spanish grade levels K-12. I also have a ESL and bilingual education teaching endorsement. I have been teaching for 6 years, including Spanish, ESL, bilingual resource, and general education.

I have 6 years experience in certified teaching. My primary experience has been in world languages (Spanish). I also have experience in ESL, bilingual resource, reading, and math.

I am an avid reader of books, particularly historical fiction, in both English and Spanish. I love to try baking and cooking new recipes. I have studied abroad in Mexico, Costa Rica, and Spain.
