I strongly believe that learning should be a fun experience. I also believe that there are different learning styles and in order for a child to obtain a successful education, their learning style should be utilized. Not all students are visual or auditory learners. I was very lucky that both of my parents were teachers and taught me these things.

I graduated high school as an Ontario Honors graduate. I recently graduated university with my Honours Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Kinesiology and am currently continuing my education through a graduate program in Kinesiology that is online based.

I have experience as a peer tutor and assist tutor in special education.

Aside from being a full time student, I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, canoeing, etc. Now that the snow is coming, I love to cross-country ski. During university, I worked part time and volunteered extensively in sports medicine as a student trainer and also within cardiac rehabilitation clinics. I currently volunteer with after school programs for children and teach Sunday School.
