As a dedicated professional educator of over 22 years I have come to understand that true education is a two way street. Teachers must respect their students to ensure students respect them. Everyday should be an opportunity to learn and grow as a teacher to ensure the most recent and integral delivery of instruction. An honest and open dialogue is key to a successful career in education. To teach is to talk to students not to simply tell students about new information.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. I also hold a Certification of Education to teach in Ontario.

As an experienced Educator and member with the Ontario College of Teachers for over 22 years I have had many opportunities to gain valuable experience. I am very familiar with Growing Success (2010) and the Common Core State Standards and US curriculum standards. I have taught High School for the past 20 years and Elementary School for a few years prior to that.

As a Certified Canadian Baseball Coach I have been involved in coaching for the past 20 years. I coach/play and direct baseball with a number of different Leagues within Ontario Canada. I have been fortunate to be able to volunteer as Director of Competitive Coaches Instruction for several years, coaching/training and certifying coaches within Ontario.
