I feel that education is a very important area for anyone. It is important to pursue in education so that one can pursue their dreams in what they want to do with this one gift of life. The more that I learn, the more I realize that I know nothing. Learning helps make my life more interesting and expands the way I view the world.

I was originally a Biology major wanting to go into premed with animals. About 2 years ago, I decided to major in mechanical engineering. It was tough because I pushed myself to finish the degree in 2 years. I learned a lot about myself and was glad I decided to take so many math courses so I could see my full potential.

I was a math tutor at Pikes Peak Community College. In my free time, I also enjoyed teaching friends, since I had talent in math. I tutored at student’s homes through a website online. I was also a math grader at UCCS and would teach students as well.

I was in the running club at UCCS. Today, I really enjoy playing chess with others or online. I enjoy going running with my dog daily. I also was the officer of the German club.
