I believe in learning through doing. A constructivist approach to teaching requires that a student build knowledge and a teacher be a guide. An engaging lesson can involve media, current events, a student’s experiences and traditional materials. A concept does not have to be complicated when explained the right way, at the right time and in the right place to a student who wants to learn.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature and I graduated with Distinction. I also have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and I graduated with Great Distinction. I hold a Graduate Certificate in Management with a concentration in Marketing. My most recent degree is my Master’s Degree in Teaching and Learning.

I have more than 6 years of teaching at the high school level. I am comfortable providing remediation as well as enrichment.

I like to read fiction and non-ficton books. I love to bake bread. My favourite sport is swimming and I am learning to jog.
