My educational philosophy is that everyone should continue to learn as much as possible, and that every individual should have an opportunity to reach their goals! I personally enjoy learning new things and I very much enjoy helping students to understand subjects so that learning can be enjoyable for them as well!
I graduated from North Garland High School as a member of the National Honor Society, and then obtained a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Dallas, and later an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas, and then went back to school to obtain my Teaching Certification – including EC-4 Generalist, 4-8 Generalist, and 4-8 Math, and EC-8 ESL Supplemental certifications.
I am currently teaching various subjects as a tutor, as well as substitute teaching for various grade levels within the Garland and Richardson school districts – including both daily as well as long term teaching assignments.
I enjoy spending time with my family and I am very active in my church – including helping out with Children’s Choir activities as well as singing in the Adult Choir, being a member of an Adult Bible Fellowship, and volunteering for various activities in our church such as Vacation Bible School.
