I believe all students have the ability to learn. The key to learning is in the instructor knowing enough to find an effective and interesting way to teach the material to the student. My job is to teach the student and provide the best education possible. If the student is not successful, then I am not successful either.
I completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology at Wilfrid Laurier University. I also completed a Masters of Education degree at Niagara University where I remained on the Dean’s list.
I have always had a passion for education. I have done co-op classes in high school as a teachers assistant, worked as a substitute teacher, and become certified to teach in Canada and the United States. Teaching is in my blood.
I enjoy making puzzles, hiking, and playing squash. Being outdoors makes me happy, especially on a brisk morning with a chill in the air. I enjoy being social with friends and family. Mostly, I enjoy a challenge and take great pleasure from helping others.
