I break down complex concepts into smaller pieces, show multiple ways to think about or discern an answer, and use lots of examples to illustrate concepts. I ask students to be as hands on as possible, putting them in the “driver’s seat,” rather than just lecturing.

I graduated Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.A. in Communications. I also have an MBA in Marketing from St. Edward’s University, and I graduated at the top of my class.

I worked as a tutor for over 7 years throughout high school, college, and post-college. I have taught SAT Math prep for Kaplan, and I also have experience teaching science and English.

I am a registered yoga teacher and I love to read. I have two small dogs and we enjoy going on walks. I spend my weekends working out, doing yoga, seeing movies and live music, and spending time with my fiancee and our two dogs.
