My educational philosophy is inspired by my studies of Renaissance humanists and my experience with Trinity’s liberal arts education. I believe that a well-rounded curriculum and a solid grasp of a subject improves not just the career and educational prospects of a student, but their heart as well. To me, education is the key to improving our communities and our world.

I graduated high school with Honours and French Immersion Double Dogwood diploma. I am now in my third year of history studies at Trinity Western University and am hoping to complete an honours degree (with successful defence of a senior thesis) and an education degree.

I have experience tutoring students at the high school level while I was also still in high school. Currently, I teach undergrad classes as a teaching assistant and am also an SOS leader at Trinity, which means being assigned to 1st year students and giving them lessons on things such as study skills and research tips.

I love writing for the school paper Mars’ Hill, and I also spend time working as a barista at Starbucks and as the box office manager of TWU’s theatre department.
