How long should my essay be?

Your essay should be between 300-400 words and relevant to the current topic. Please see our essay writing tips for more information.

When will I know my essay has been accepted?

After the submission deadline you will receive an e-mail notification letting you know your essay has been received and voting has begun.

Who is eligible to apply?

You must be a graduating senior in high school or a freshmen, sophomore, or junior in college. You must be graduating high school or in college and between the ages of 16 and 22.

How do I get votes?

The main way to get votes is to share the scholarship page (https://stold.wpengine.com/scholarship/) with your friends and family on social media. Please see our page on how to get votes.

Can I vote multiple times?

To prevent an unfair advantage, we only allow one vote per person. Be sure to ask your friends and family to vote for you on their computers and mobile devices.

How do I know how many votes I have?

We do not currently show the number of votes cast.

How is my personal information used?

A minimum amount of personal information is needed to verify your submission and provide SchoolTutoring Academy with a means of contact should you become a scholarship recipient. This personal information is used for our internal records only and we will not share your personal information with any third parties.

How will I know if I won?

The winner will be notified by e-mail once the voting period ends. The winner will also be posted under the Scholarship Winners sections of the site.
