I excelled in and enjoyed high schoolin Santa Monica, California. I attended the University of Michigan and studied Actuarial Mathematics. After serving in the United States Peace Corps teaching English in Ethiopia, I returned to earn my Master’s Degree. I studied International Educational Development at the University of Pennsylvania.

I have experience tutoring 5th graders in mathematics. I also taught English and teaching methodologies in Ethiopia for two years.

I love to exercise! I swim, bike, run, and do yoga. I used to play water polo. I also enjoy scrapbooking and doing puzzles. I love traveling and learning from people who’ve had different life experiences than me. I’ve been to various countries in Europe, Asia, and Africa.
