This program focuses on the Grade 3 English and Mathematics curriculum.

3rd Grade English Tutoring Program
By the end of Grade 3, your child should be able to:
- Read a variety of texts, such as short stories and poems, fluently
- Participate in group discussions and comment constructively on the ideas of others
- Perform short oral presentations to the class on a topic that was researched
- Organize and group sentences into paragraphs
With the help of one of our specialized tutors, your child will be able to develop their skills in reading, writing and oral communication. Our certified tutors will work with your child on analyzing short reading passages to improve their reading comprehension. Your child will learn how to organize ideas and express them in full sentences and paragraphs by writing on a variety of topics. To keep the sessions interesting, the tutor will also play a number of interactive and educational games.
3rd Grade Math Tutoring Program
By the end of the grade, your child should be able to:
- Order the whole numbers from 0 to 1000
- Add and subtract three-digit numbers
- Multiply and divide two-digit numbers
- Count by 1’s, 2’s, 5’s, 10’s, 25’s and 100’s
- Count money up to 10 dollars
- Tell time up to the nearest 5 minutes
- Relate minutes to hours, hours to days, days to weeks and weeks to years
- Measure distance, mass and volume using standard units
- Identify simple patterns in sequences of numbers
