I have always liked science, and it was always the class that was easy for me and the class that I was always good at. There was a time when I was struggling with a subject, and that subject was chemistry. At first it wasn’t so hard and it was fun. I had this class for zero period which was in the early morning at 6:40am. As the time went on it started getting harder and I started to struggle more. I never really got lower than a D because I would study and get help. When I saw that I got a C and it was almost the end of the semester I was doing everything I can to get it up. When the teacher announced the final project I was listening closely. She said that we had three tries, the third try we would get two percent of our grade up, the second try we would get four percent up, and if we get it on our first try we would get eight percent up on our grade. I was going to tutorials and doing it on chemistry, I was getting help from other people, I was researching, and studying. The final day of the project I had it done and when I showed it to the teacher I got it. I got it on the first try and my grade went up eight percent, so it went from a C to a B-. I learned that with hard work and a lot of studying and commitment I can achieve my goals. Although chemistry was one of my fun classes and I liked it, I struggled with it. My mind was set that I wasn’t going to get a C in chemistry so I did everything I could to get my grade up.
