The one thing that I have accomplished that has given me great satisfaction is going to school for a year. I was going to apply to the University of Florida. However, this young lady in my Anatomy and Physiology class convinced me to attend FAMU. I had to sign up for 9 additional classes to get into FAMU. I enrolled in courses for the first summer session to get a feel for the class expectations and demands. After my completion of the first summer session, I enjoyed learning the new material. This experience helped me to develop better time management skills and memorization skills. During the 2nd second summer session, I pushed myself and enrolled in four courses to ensure that I could transfer in January. The course load was very challenging. I wanted to stretch myself and my abilities so that I to see how I would respond under the pressure of a full load of courses. I realize that university course work is very different from community college course work. I wanted to get a taste of what was to come. In the end, I ended up completing all my summer courses with the grades of: four As, one B, and one C. This was very rewarding for me. I proved to myself that I can meet challenges and conquer challenges.once my mind is set on something I am determined to complete it regardless of the trials and tribulations I will undergo. I am prepared to accept failure and feedback. I see failures as a lesson and a reminder as what is to happen if I slip up. Also, I will ask questions to ensure I am understanding the material at hand. I will read the textbooks to give myself reassurance. I will talk to my teachers if I am having trouble comprehending the material.once my mind is set on something I am determined to complete it regardless of the trials and tribulations I will undergo.
