The skills of self budgeting and money management should be taught and required in every school because it would help students everyday, not only after,, but during high school. A personal financing class would benefit every student as most of them are starting to acquire their own money at this stage of life. Many will manage it poorly and spend it on non necessitates, others will try and just save it by having it pile up at their house. Teaching student how to save their money, and yes, spend some of it as well, will prepare them for making these decisions.
