I believe that is is very important for children to have a strong understanding of the concepts underlying their lessons. Without a good foundation, they will not retain their lessons or be prepared to progress to more complex subject matter. I also believe that any topic can be fascinating, provided it is presented clearly by a passionate educator.

I am currently completing my Bachelor of Medical Biophysics at the University of Western Ontario. The courses that I have taken thus far include calculus statistical math, biology, chemistry and physics with no less than an A in any course.

I am a volunteer tutor at a local high school and I have also worked with students in one-on-one environments.

The life of a university student does not afford a lot of free time for hobbies, but I enjoy reading and watching films when I can. I run and do yoga to keep fit. I would love to get back into horse-back riding when I have sufficient time and funds.
