Converting SAT Scores to ACT Scores 150 150 Emma Taylor

Some students will choose to take both the SAT and the ACT when preparing to apply for college.  For that reason, the College Board and the ACT worked together in 2006 to see if there were correlations between the two test scores.

The College Board notes, “The SAT and ACT are different tests, and it is not possible to predict exactly what score a student will get on one test, based solely on the score obtained on the other test. In general, the scores should not be compared.”

The chart below is based on the results of that study and may help to determine which set of scores would be more beneficial for the student to submit.
